What is IPSI?
IPSI is a European project funded by the
Erasmus+ Programme (KA210 – Small-scale Partnerships in Adult Education).
The project brings together organizations from the Netherlands, Italy and Czechia
to promote more inclusive workplaces and improve support for LGBTQIA+ individuals
in the labour market.
Why IPSI?
Despite increasing awareness of diversity and equality, many LGBTQIA+ people still
face discrimination, bias, or exclusion in the workplace and during recruitment processes.
These challenges affect not only employment opportunities but also wellbeing and career progression.
At the same time, many HR professionals and career counselors lack specific training
on how to effectively support LGBTQIA+ employees and job seekers.
Project objectives
- Train 45 HR professionals and career counselors
- Develop an open-access MOOC with practical resources
- Strengthen cooperation between organizations and employers
- Promote inclusive hiring practices
- Improve support for LGBTQIA+ job seekers
Training for project staff
Experts from Arcigay will train project staff in LGBTQIA+ rights,
anti-discrimination strategies and inclusive workplace practices.
This helps the partnership build strong expertise before working with external professionals.
Development of the IPSI MOOC
The project will create a multilingual online course for HR professionals and career counselors.
The MOOC will include practical guidelines, real-life case studies, video lectures and tools
for implementing inclusive HR policies.
The course will be available in English, Italian, Dutch and Czech.
Pilot training
The MOOC will be tested with 45 HR professionals and career counselors.
Through pre- and post-training assessments, the project will evaluate how the training
improves knowledge, confidence and practical implementation of inclusive practices.
